As a superhero, I can confirm this is indeed how we keep our secret safe.
Lmao you just copy paste this same format on different videos? Why
@C-Rey Thank you! For I am *not* Donovan Williams!
As your parent, I can confirm that I do not know you are a superhero
@Iyad No, hes "NotDonovanwilliams", its so clear.
Caleb is so dedicated he spent years to become a father just for the skit, very impressive.
@Tobirama Senju I have my own videos, I have my own subscriptions, the channels were created at different times. Stop making things up.
@Tobirama Senju mhm, ok. Respond to my comment with logical points next time.
@HollowKnightReference we all know that's you.
@Tobirama Senju This is this person's first comment on this channel, so using the plural form of comment is incorrect. Also unless you can provide proof of this person using the exact wording as the other comment you are claiming this guy stole from then you have nothing.
Just stealing comments
I love how chill the dad was about it yet the son still felt he had to lie 😆
@TSVH thank you very much!
@Captanblue theres also a game for it! theres a wakfu game and one called dofus, very similiar but i think wakfu has things and characters from the show. i didnt watch or play wakfu but i played dofus since like 2007 and it has a very special place in my heart :D
I wrote a comment here a couple days ago explaining what show it is but it seems to have been deleted for some reason. It's called Wakfu, available on Netflix
Yeah I'm curious what show the pfp is from
You mfs made curious so I will leave a comment in case someone posts the show name
The dad knew his son was back because of the aftershock. He already knew about the powers, the dad was legit asking “what did you throw”
@Peter Thompson they meant what it would have changed to if(since) the father has super speed
th-clips.com/video/ikJPUnlUM7I/วีดีโอ.html Finally it’s here🤠
@Nick Brown It was definitely "I did, you think they got super speed like you?"
@natsu dragneel The ending "I did, you didn't think I have super speed like you?"
would be funny if the dad actually have power too and just never told him to fuck with him
For someone who has super speed, hard to believe that the fastest solution to get rid of the cape he thought of was throwing it
@Seth Jones That's not really a drawback right? I guess it technically is but I thought for something to be a drawback it had to be a product of something. Nevermind then.
He panic that why he threw the cape
As someone who has wasted years of their life watching TH-clips and playing video games, I can confirm that I also believe this is stupid
@Zxnaz_ facts much more faster
@Arno All superpowers have their respective drawbacks
“Did you just fly away and shoot lasers”“Yeah, it’s part of my cosplay”“Understandable”
You forgot the "Have a good day" part 🤣
@Rock Lee what is here
@Josh Shrum If the plot twist for the last episode of The Boys is that they’re all cosplayers and it’s a big play I’m gonna be pissed.
I love how this guys power is super speed, and instead of just running to a different location when he heard his father his first thought was to throw his cap
Didn't even throw it at super speed
This is one of the things about superheroes I always found odd. It makes perfect sense not to let the whole world know it's you, but any family member or really close friend worth their salt is going to keep that information safe.
Well most heroes tells their closest family about it. Some outliers like Peter Parker doesn't but then that plays into Peters character flaw that he has to do everything by himself.
@GreenDude Gaming also he lives in an isolated mansion that most people couldn't bother him at.
Not every family member and friend is "worth their salt". If even one of them didn't understand the need for secrecy or take it seriously or just weren't cautious even if they did take it seriously the secret would be out and you couldn't take it back; barring a Doctor Strange type rearranging the universe for you.
@TheMamaluigi300 I could see this making sense if they didn't want loved ones to worry about them but yeah, it's kinda funny
"Plausible deniability"It's why the president isn't told a lot of military stuff unless he explicitly asks.Essentially, if they don't know, they can't be tortured/brainwashed into revealing the secret.
The best secret identity is just showing yourself in plain sight
these bots are annoying af
aside from alien shenanigans, Clark Kent's method is very efficient
This does make sense a little. Nobody is gonna question if your bro from school is the a freaking super hero, if though they are identical
Imagine if peter parker took shot of himself and brought it to jameson.
Imagine uncle ben pulls up as a villain one day: "What? You thought a damn spider gave you those powers? I can shoot webs and everything too!"
I just realized it doesn’t matter what topic Caleb chooses, it’s just gonna be good because Caleb
Caleb is so incredibly dedicated to his skits that he grew a moustache and gained superpowers just for a single video
1:07The way he said this is so god damn funny that it's straying me away from the conflict that happens immediately after he does
Dont know why more people arent talkin about this 😂
When reading through Invincible I loved that there was a part that both Mark and Eve got called out for being Invincible and Atom Eve respectively. Guy: "Very well. Mark, Samantha... Please, do come inside."They start to give a "How did you--?" and the dude straight up says "Are you kidding me? You're not even wearing a mask!"(edited to show the actual quotes)
Mark does… Eve don’t…
As a supervillain I thank you for disclosing how these heroes hide their identities.Edit: thanks for all the likes ! :)
They call me #FlukeWayne🦇
why do you villains gotta be so damn rich too?
You're a villain alright, just not a super one.
@Sonic44885 m super heros ain't got no parents 😒 tragic backstory and all
@sanbi221 you did not just go there...
Right away I loved how the delayed wind effect came after Hero zoomed into frame. The dedication to looking realistic is unimaginable.
“I couldn’t care less that you’re the red blur, it’s tax season” Spoken like a true dad 💀💀💀
The fact his father had super speed the whole time was hilarious, he knew his sons identity before he even got caught no doubt
That was better that anything I have seen from the DCU.
I like how Caleb puts on a fake mustache even though he already has one
It’s to differentiate the characters Genius 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
His moustache is fake????
he was just keeping his secret
The funniest thing about this, is the super hero doesn't wear a mask. Yet, his father identifies him as the super hero not because he saw his face on the news, but because he saw the cape.
As a cape, I can confirm this is indeed how superheroes throw us when they want to keep us a secret
@Not Donovan Williams I mean, tbh people been using that line for a long time. I can't tell you how many times I've seen it over the yearsEdit: "As such and such, I can confirm" to be specific
Lung laughs in firebreathing lizard man.
@Not Donovan Williams I had to scroll down twice then up.
@Not Donovan Williams I see.
@An Ice cream sandwich Enjoyer “As a superhero, I can confirm this is how we keep our secret safe.” I made that comment lol
“I gave you enough time to think about it”Can we talk about how considerate the criminal was
This made me so invested in those two characters, AMAZING work!!!
“I gave you enough time to think about it” Can we talk about how considerate the criminal was
@Somedude Watchintv "marinate in his fear"THAT'S the phrase I was thinking off!
More like sadistic, he gave the guy time to fully consider his situation and marinate in his fear.
He's letting him ponder his imminent fate
@NeffRious2.0 Holy crap. You're actually right.
@Lightning Point LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO
As a CalebCity, I can confirm this is how we make consistently hilarious and amazing content for our subs.
As a CalebCity fan, I can confirm that he makes amazing content for me and all of his subs
I like how genuinely shocked the dad is that the son didn't help. Like, he was already cool with him being a hero. That saves like 10 issues of comic pages right there.
The plot twist. 🤣🤣😭
I don’t know why, but Caleb’s dad voice made me laugh every time he said anything. “It’s tax season” killed me.
As a Dad, i can surely confirm my son has indeed did this multiple times.
As your son, I can also surely confirm that I have indeed done this multiple times
That’s your mistake see when you get confronted by your dad you have to fake a fight to storm to your room that way you can leave out your room to save the citizen. Took me awhile to figure it out
@here is the full clip stopppppp with the trolling, you don't even do it right🤦♀️
So should I be concern by the fact that your son is that bad at concealing his identity or by the fact that he let multiple people die by trying do hide it ?
“Alright I gave you enough time to think about it” 😂😂😂😂😭 yoooo we need a full on Caleb show. I also love how he perfectly captured a father.
This gives me “when your roommate is a misguided superhero” vibes. Also, this is The Red Blur’s arch rival’s origin story.
The best part about this, was how caleb didnt use a recording of his voice for the mugging happening in the background, he actually went to chicago and this happened right outside his house- he and his dad just sat there awkwardly thinking caleb was going to save them, but he will always keep his secret safe
dude your acting is on POINT, it's so often that i realize halfway through that it's just you and not a cast of characters, your acting is FIRE dude
Now it all makes sense how Caleb can play so many characters, man has had super speed the whole time!
I love how the people making fun of the bots have became bots themselves
@The Grinch 🅥 ???
*Here is the full clip explaining why dad left**you:* *(Making fun of bots)**th-clips.com/video/EL_8zxpLdJw/วีดีโอ.html*
And he can regenerate his hands
The face hero Caleb makes when the gun fires….too hilarious 😂
the Dad's responses in this are PERFECT!! Lmao
I just love how the victim somehow knew how to ask for help painting out the same exact situation of someone in the house being able to help!!
Caleb is so dedicated he spent decades training to become a superhero just for the skit, mad respect
1:58 the state lmfao
"blessed by Cory's lip" BROO 😭
bro i keep seeing your profile on youtube comments lol
Bro what 😭
@YeaMani bet you dont reply back
"you bouta piss me off" that delivery killed me 😂
That ending lol. Thought it was going to go dark and then he brings it back to comedic. Clever
Man the dad being chill about it and saying "Yo, it's tax season alright, I don't care, just be careful" is SUUUCH a mood. XD Tax season is the worst.
Could also do a video on the whole "I have to keep my secret and push people away for their own safety" trope, when it only ever puts others in more danger and makes no sense.
As a secret, I can confirm This is how superhero’s keep us safe. (Edit thx for all the likes)
@Who’s Joe as the original creator of the “stolen” comment, I can confirm that I believe this comment is funny.
As a safe, I can confirm this is how secrets keep superheroes.
@Don't Read Profile Picture sorry i dont have my glasses on rn i cant read it
I love the idea of a hero being all secretive but in actuality, everyone know's he is in fact the hero.
1. Glad the guy managed to take the gun and save himself.2. Super impressed that the dad called the police, common sense truly is the greatest power of them all
Caleb thank you for putting a smile on my face for so many years bro.
1:50 got me rolling XD
Every time you think you’ve seen the twist, there’s always that one extra bit at the end that you just don’t see coming 😂
@ShadowScythes What would we have done if not for your powers of perception.
We are unconscious when we are asleep or fainted. When we are unconscious, we have no thoughts, no emotions, and cannot see the world. When we are conscious, we know everything. Consciousness is thoughts, emotions, and everything in the world. This consciousness is one. Will consciousness be split in two? Consciousness is not divisible.Do you feel two consciousnesses when talking to a friend? Consciousness is felt only as one. Consciousness is one. I am Conscious and I am the World.Gospel of Thomas"For many of the first will be last, and will become a single one."Jesus said, "Two will recline on a couch; one will die, one will live.""For this reason I say, if one is whole, one will be filled with light, but if one is divided, one will be filled with darkness."Jesus said, "Why do you wash the outside of the cup? Don't you understand that the one who made the inside is also the one who made the outside?"Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained.Split a piece of wood; I am there.Lift up the stone, and you will find me there."A [person said] to him, "Tell my brothers to divide my father's possessions with me."He said to the person, "Mister, who made me a divider?"He turned to his disciples and said to them, "I'm not a divider, am I?"
@ShadowScythes ya think?
@The Grinch 🅥 Funny, I've seen this same comment elsewhere which leads me to guess you are indeed a bot...
It would have been nice for Caleb’s dad to insert a line, “I know you’re running around town fighting villains. But I’m being a man and your father by handling yours and everyone else’s taxes in this house. Why don’t you do something about THAT enemy. Maybe a percentage would stop doing crime if they got to keep more than 40% of what they earn.”
Man, the ending got my, "I'm laughing but I hate myself for it" laugh. Fantastic stuff as always!
As a father, I can confirm that my son does throw away pieces of cloth when I enter the room. He must be a super hero.
😂When superheroes get caught, they always gave funny reactions. Some will try to play it off, others will ask you something to try to distract you, from the fact you found out, others will just lay you out. Sometimes in life, you get caught. As a big fan of superheroes, I find this skit hilarious.TERRANCE OUT
Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Thor, Aquaman, John Stewart Green Lantern, most MCU heroes: “Secret what???”
@Simeon Ellinger I love it when people are unafraid to just call Batman an idiot, thank you
@YeaMan he never said that
I remember when lex Luther removed the flash's mask only to be confused and say "who is this?"Because the flash's normal identity is just mundane.Batman ,on the other hand, is the idiot who maintains a huge social presence as Bruce Wayne.
God loves us sinners that he willingly died for us so we can repent for our sins. Come to Christ before time runs out. There’s never a guarantee for tomorrow. We either go to two places when we die heaven or hell but Jesus opened the pathway to heaven for us. God loves you. Repent and come to him before it’s too late islam is a way to hell but jesus is the way to heaven.
I love how entertaining it was sitting there for half the video listening to something going on outside. 😂
I love how he could of just easily got out that situation even if he did throw the cape
Everybody has their secrets, and that's perfectly fine.
As a red cape I can confirm the abuse that heroes put us through when they throw us aside in attempts to hide their secrets
"Why didn't you call the police..?""I DID, Think they got super speed like you do?"That line was beautiful.
@DoohickeyHandy they makes more sense because he called the cops and the cops ain’t gonna make it there in seconds like he could’ve
Idk why everyone gotta argue over the comments its gotta get to the point of dissecting a joke in a skit because they can't tell what he said.
@EmboaRule6 looking back on it, I'm pretty sure its "You didn't think I had super speed" because... like why would "you didn't think they" make sense?. Like nobody assumed they had super speed. That doesn't work well as a joke and theres not really a build to it. And the father having powers makes more sense given how he seemed to know and him not believing the Clark kenting Schick.
@- MOECHAN萌え-ちゃん that wouldve been an epic plot twist
@Akuma Makima Ask yourself THESE questions: How does the other line make more sense? Before you say others misheard did you yourself listen to it multiple times, listen to it carefully, listen to it loudly, then listen to it slowed down to make complete sure what you thought you heard was right? If the son with super speed didn't hear his dad then how in the hell would the cops without superspeed hear what the dad was saying to them? Because like I said before if the dad had super speed it would make more sense for him to stop the robber instead of calling the cops.
As a superpower, I can confirm this is indeed how heroes keep my secret safe.
"...Why didn't you call the police?""I DID. You think they got super speed like you?"This man will always be amazing
As a Hero with no superpowers, I can confirm this happened on countless occasions
As the cape of a SuperHero, I can confirm this is indeed how they keep their identity safe.
I love how the robber and his victim are being so much specific
Well when the world is made up entirely of genetic clones of a single individual it pays to be that specific. Even the burglars wear name tags.
Plot twist, they were two of his closest friends (one went through a villain arc) who knew but also kept it a secret.
This man could make a movie where he is the director and entire cast and it would be legit 😂😂😂
Every time I watch one of these videos, I somehow forget that he plays every character, because they're all so distinct from each other.
Red Blur could have moved faster than the blink of an eye right? 🤔 And does that last part means he inherited his abilities from his father but didn't know?
The dad just wanted him to come out in his own time. The whole family has known he is different since he was three and accidentally set the ground on fire during a game of tag. They didn't want to pressure him is all.
"I don't care if you're the Red Blur right now it's tax season" That is absolute dad energy right there
See, what you guys don't know is that this is the 2nd son of the Tomato farmer. He always wanted to keep the tradition of handing it off to the first born son so he didn't consider the second. But the second one ate a radioactive tomato. Some say it grew to full size in only a minute. Now he is a speedster known as....The Red Blur.
As a cloak, i can confirm that he is indeed a super hero.
As a dead victim lying in the grave because no one came to save me in time even though they had the ability to, I can confirm this is how super heroes keep their secret safe👌🏾
“Look, I couldn’t care less that you’re the Red Blur right now, okay? It’s tax season.” As someone who’s taken a personal money management class, I can confirm that when filing taxes, you could tell me literally anything and I wouldn’t be bothered to care about it until I’m free of the worst fate of all: taxes.
Dang, and here i was thinkin he said "be careful" cause he didnt wanna lose his kid claim during tax season🤣😭
"I don't care how fast you are, you can't outrun the IRS."
The worst fate, of all time is waiting in line at the DMV
Speaking of superheroes, I would love to catch up with that superhero who reads minds. It’s been a couple years so I’m curious if he can read anybody else’s yet
Caleb saw a cape at a store and immediately went like "oh yeah, this can work."
Great impression of a dad. Thanks for the content!
Funnily enough this all could've been avoided if he just super sped to one of the rooms in the hallway and took off the cape in there and walk out.
My family can never know I’m the one who delivers the toilet paper and cases of water. Not all heroes wear capes. 😂
I've seen recently where superheroes tell their close friends and family because they know they're trustworthy, but I want to see the opposite. Like, the superhero's mom would be so proud and so supportive that she'd tell everybody because she's also an incorrigible gossip.
This I why static only told his dad & mom (mom called him my little super hero when he was little because of time travel episode which made dad more chill after finding out) but not sister (big gossip her boyfriend was a hero & she told the world)
I mis-read that, and thought you meant that the mom would be a super villain. The idea of a super villain mom SPECIFICALLY being proud of their hero kid is cracking me up.
This man's videos always make my day c:
As a Supervillain, thanks for letting me know your secrets.
LOLOLOL. CalebCity is going deep in his maturation as an entertainer and I love it
the "but dAaD" got me lmaoo
You know caleb is the best, when your anger is strong and seeing his video makes you smile, and he making you laugh within the first 2 seconds xdddd
“You think they got super like you” 😂😂😂 man I love Caleb
As the brother of a superhero I can confirm that this is how he hides his secret from the family
Bro you’re Jerome from Kindergarten 💀 I haven’t thought about that game in years
Then how did you find out he was a superhero? Hmmm.....
Didn’t work out cuz you know
th-clips.com/video/Mj8zSr3c61A/วีดีโอ.html Finally It’s here🤠
Here is the full Clip : caleb city commented on this th-clips.com/video/vC0roEkkKkQ/วีดีโอ.html
As a red cape, I can confirm this is in fact how superheros treat us
The straight face he was making is just priceless 💀
why did the “it’s tax season!” line have me rollin’?!? 🤣🤣🤣
The best part is that it's never some super elaborate disguise. They literally change one piece of clothing, such as Clark Kent and Peter Parker wearing glasses. Humans are just so oblivious that we clearly don't inspect any further than the first glance.
Caleb always coming with the top tier plot twists🤣🔥
the dad acting was incredibly good lmao and the gunshot is what broke me
I love these videos keep em coming Caleb 😂😂🔥
As a supervillain who Iives conquering superheroes, I confirm this is what they do.
As a parent, I can confirm we need you most safe during tax season
Not gonna lie every time I see a Calebcity video I always hope the Time Loop guy will come back through the door and say “hey I’m here for the interview” 😭
as a secret dad I can confirm this is how my son keeps his power safe
6 seconds into the video and i already bust out laughing lol, the way he threw the cape was so funny xd
"Its tax season, just be careful" sent me🤣🤣🤣. Pops on turbotax trying to get the biggest return he can and his dependent out here risking his life.
