Your jasmine isn't dead. Plant it in the ground. The pot dries out too quickly. Make sure to keep it watered too. There's plenty of green so it's still alive. And a good rule of thumb to remember, first year they sleep, second year they creep, third year they leap. Love your vlogs, love your family.💕
Well said Terri was shouting through the screen it’s still alive Rachelle. Just needs to be in ground and more water. Add in the soil some of those water beads (look like bean bag beads sort of.) they will help keeping the plant moist on hot days. Loads of love leisa Western Australia xxx
Yesssss! It’s not dead!! Also, although it is still hot, it may start getting cooler at night and transitioning to fall. Don’t kill it, it may just regrow again in the spring on its own
The Jasmine is still OK, it is just getting dried out too quickly. Either put into a much larger pot or into the ground. It will come back! Keep it damp. and add a thick layer of mulch! The kids are getting so big (and Faye is so adorable with her little smiles).
I really admire you, Rachelle. You’re so wonderful, kind, smart, and uplifting. I’ve been watching since I was 14 and I’m almost 21 now. You remain a source of brightness in my day!
You’ve got plenty of good advice about your plant already but I just want to add, don’t give up on it so easily! Plants are alive, they won’t look perfect all the time, but as long as they still grow green leaves it is ok. With it being so hot, try to plant directly in the ground and potentially cover the lowest part (the stem/root entering the ground 😅) so it’s always shaded, that will help.
I never analyzed everything my babies did and at every stage. We just lived our lives day to day. There seems to be such a self absortion in your generation and obsession with your children. I was taught to live more Godward. (He's the one that really counts.) What does He think. What does He want. What has He planned etc.
Re the jasmine. Can you plant it in the ground. Enrich the soil before planting( mix the plant food with the existing soil). You may need a few plants to cover that distance. Mulch the top of the soil after planting, to keep the moisture in after watering. And……good luck. Oh and one more thing. If that spot gets a lot of hot sun you may need to protect it a bit until it gets established.
Hi Rachelle, try shading the root of your jasmine plant with mulch and some stones. This will prevent scorching and will help retain moistness. I am sure the plant will revive as there are still lots of green leaves. Also it will not look as good in Autumn as it will in Spring/Summer. Pepper is gorgeous as are all your children. Good luck with the blood test. X
We loved our Zippys! We graduated all the way to the flying squirrel before we transitioned to our big boy bed! I also think this helps them not try to climb out of the crib as earlier if at all. So glad you found it!!!
Seems to me that you've become more confident in your recent blogs- you just put it out there- like it or leave it- n I Love it and your family n Justin n Pepper. I love your honest candid videos i appreciate the way you share your life, marriage, kids, mom, etc. Just real stuff n some of us dont have any of that anymore! I Adore how you And Justin Share having a new born in the home. I Love that He is as involved in raising the children as you are, - - My husband thought ( our) babies were "womans work" until they were old enough for sports!🙄 I see in your family How it can work, together! I was overwhelmed by motherhood. By myself!
I found out the hard way put sand or like some mulch underneath the play set. The kids will love it I put it in a year later and my kids hardly ever were inside. We played outside all day and sometimes even ate lunch out there. Love your videos and your family 💕 your kids are very well behaved and of course adorable!!!
Faye is the absolute sweetest little girl. She so looks like Emma & I love the cute noises she is making. Definitely going to be a chatterbox, bless her. You have the most gorgeous children (I feel like I’m constantly telling you but that’s cos it’s true) Just love your family & your beautiful vlogs 🦋💙🦋💙🦋 xxx. (Of course your family includes your beautiful fur babies. I also love your intro now has Brynn & Beau 💙🦋💙🦋💙. Just perfect) xoxoXoxox
Your jasmine plant needs to be planted in the ground. The pot is too small for it and it is likely rootbound. (AKA no soil left, no nutrients left, dries out quickly.) If you want to try something else a clematis would likely do well. Again, it will need to be planted in the ground. :)
Regarding the Jasmin plant. 1. Jasmin dies back and loses all its leaves in the fall/winter. At least mine does and it looks like a bunch of twigs. You can cut them back and in the spring they grow back. 2. You should plant it in the ground and not in a pot. 3. Fertilize in the spring/summer. 4. I recommend for all your plants especially in places where it gets really hot to put a drip system on a timer so it's easier to water, it's not a set-it-and-forget type of thing you still have to check that the drip works every couple of days since the heat can deteriorate the tubes or can get plugged but it really helps.
If you don't mind me asking, what kind of work does Justin dio? I just love the videos you put out. Your family is just the cutest, and I love your positive attitude towards everything.
Try morning glories, plant the seeds early in the spring just under the soil and keep it watered! Within a few weeks you will see plants begin to grow and by the beginning of June they will begin to grow climb! Just keep them watered!
What a beautiful family u have, I can’t believe how young u both are, but you are so mature. Your house is beautiful you would have to be a multi millionaire to have this were I live in the uk
Rachelle, your jasmine plant is not dead, it's merely outgrown the pot. strip off the dead leaves and plant it in the ground. keep it well watered and it should flourish
You can try a golden pothos. They vine really well I have one outside at work and it has grabbed onto the wall. They dont like the direct light but if there is a semi shady spot they might work
You need to water the apple tree more often but only water first thing in the morning before the sun comes up. Don't water any plants in the evening as it can create mould. Same with jasmine too, the pot is too small also. Cheers
I have an idea. Try morning glories. They go dormant every winter and come back every spring. They are beautiful They are also viney. So they will spread out nicely
Apple tress are better in pairs and if you have not got anymore it needs To pollinate to grow apples so it’s best to be near another tree that has apples as they need to breed Basically Ann you need to make sure that the right kind of near each other if you want apples other than that it will grow really well
With the jasmine take all the dead leaves off and plant it in the ground. Because it’s getting bigger the roots will be too big for the pot. Water at the coolest time of day either in the morning or evening and keep on top of taking the dead leaves and flowers off because it will grow back even bigger and better 💛💛💛

Yes just plant it in the ground and it’ll be fine!
Yes, it's definitely not dead!! If there is green on a plant it is stil photosynthesizing!! But I agree 100% with this poster!! ^-^
Well said Terri was shouting through the screen it’s still alive Rachelle. Just needs to be in ground and more water. Add in the soil some of those water beads (look like bean bag beads sort of.) they will help keeping the plant moist on hot days. Loads of love leisa Western Australia xxx
Not dead. Jasmine loves to have its roots free. Most likely it’s just root bound. If you plant it, it’ll be fine.
Yesssss! It’s not dead!! Also, although it is still hot, it may start getting cooler at night and transitioning to fall. Don’t kill it, it may just regrow again in the spring on its own
She is so sweet I love watching you all!
I love how vocal Faye is right now and her precious giggles and smiles are just the best!!!!

Oh she's so adorable and she's getting so big,,,, it's going to be so much fun this Christmas for your family,,,,,,
Honeysuckle works well along fences and is hard to kill! I don’t know about the California weather though.
Faye is the absolute sweetest little girl. She so looks like Emma & I love the cute noises she is making. Definitely going to be a chatterbox, bless her.

Try cleaning off the dead stuff add more potting soil, and maybe a bigger pot, I use miracle grow potting soil and it is awesome

Oh your apple tree! Make sure you get another tree of a different apple variety if you want it to produce, get that cross pollination going 😊
Keep up your greatness!!! God bless you all..😊🙏🏻
Baby is so gorgeous she looks like Emma.
My jasmine is in partial shade and is much happier than full sun. It also prefers frequent watering.
If you don't mind me asking, what kind of work does Justin dio? I just love the videos you put out. Your family is just the cutest, and I love your positive attitude towards everything.

Your Jasmine plant might just be entering dormancy, mine does this too around this time of year.
Plant your Jasmine in the ground. Its probably root bound. Don't give up on it yet! 💚
She is so cute!
You can try a golden pothos. They vine really well I have one outside at work and it has grabbed onto the wall. They dont like the direct light but if there is a semi shady spot they might work
It will fry in the California sun.
Sweet potato vines!!! Not sure how well they'll do in CA heat, but very easy viney outdoor plants that will love that space!
Love you’re family 🥰🥰
Her features look like Emma. She is so cute.
I think you should make a video of all you're different intros. It would be so cool to see them all in one video.
Great idea! I agree!
Wisteria, if I'm spelling it correctly, is what my daughter has and it is lovely, fragrant and no care...
Faye looks so much like Emma. She’s so sweet.
You need to water the apple tree more often but only water first thing in the morning before the sun comes up. Don't water any plants in the evening as it can create mould. Same with jasmine too, the pot is too small also. Cheers
All your kids are so cute and beautiful.
I have an idea. Try morning glories. They go dormant every winter and come back every spring. They are beautiful They are also viney. So they will spread out nicely
I think a playset for the kids would be awesome
Faye looks so much like Justin! So sweet!
Plant a new jasmine in the ground and it will grow better than in a pot xxx
Jasmine is root bound in the pot. It does need to ve in the ground, I agree.
Feye is looking more and more like Asher!
Apple tress are better in pairs and if you have not got anymore it needs To pollinate to grow apples so it’s best to be near another tree that has apples as they need to breed Basically Ann you need to make sure that the right kind of near each other if you want apples other than that it will grow really well
Passionfruit vine will also work well and look lovely in that spot, if the jasmine doesn’t survive
Love ur vlogs. And look forward to them
With the jasmine take all the dead leaves off and plant it in the ground. Because it’s getting bigger the roots will be too big for the pot. Water at the coolest time of day either in the morning or evening and keep on top of taking the dead leaves and flowers off because it will grow back even bigger and better 💛💛💛

Definitely plant your jasmine in the ground!
And the jasmine could be root bound so get a bigger pot for it and more potting mix
Rachelle, you need a drip system for the jasmine. It’s definitely scorched.
I wanna know how you potty trained Pepper! PLEASE!
Plant that Jasmine 💕
Take the Jasmine out of the pot. Bury it in the ground so it has more room…..you have the best backyard for a play structure!! They will love it!
