Ok i honestly hope everyone who has doubts about this song see's my comment...When asked about this song in an interview ,he said this was about a girl he was seeing who didn't tell him that she already had a bf and he found about it only after a few weeks and even then she wanted to continue what they had without breaking it off with the other guy. Then Charlie broke it off with her , he told her he knows what it fees like to be cheated on and that he would never stand for it. So the relationship ended but he was still struggling with the feelings he had for her . This song isn't about him cheating or him advocating or supporting people who cheat ,it's about him still mentally picturing a fantasy during that breakup time ,where they were still be together even though they couldn't in real life :)

Charlie has a voice of an angel...and every song he makes he puts his soul into it.. you can tell because the lyrics and his voice touches your heart as soon as the first note of the song is made....I wanna know how to sing like him one day....😊😊

But he puts words to the feelings. I think everyone here has been in love with some on secretly without their knowledge. Then, this song is good to describe The feeling.
