But Gustavo exhibits qualities of dwarfism (although I think he is technically 1 inch taller than the conventional height range to be categorized as a small person). There aren't any advantages to that. His limbs seem disproportionately short even relative to his short stature.

Well there is advantages to both being lanky and being stubby and shorter limbs, for example I think Silva would've finished that heelhook if Balarti had longer legs. I think Balarti has better opportunity for striking in the pocket because he has more explosive power there from his legs and hooks are more powerful with better rotation look at his legs, those hips gonna send a normal man to orbit with one hook. In the end I think generally speaking length is an advantage but if you can't abuse those advantages they mean nothing. I think it's up to skill talent and the amount of dedication either type of fighter has.
